As director of development Mark puts together every project, every deal. What starts out as a great idea, he makes happen. He works with investors, landowners, retail centre owners, local authorities, designers, architects and contractors.
Mark understands the mechanics of development: the finance, the planning process, the timing and who has to do what by when. He also understands the potential of a site and where and how the Milligan team can work its magic.
Mark’s experience covers the leisure and entertainment industries as well as retail. Before being lured to join Milligan, Mark was head of asset management at MWB responsible for its £650 million leisure portfolio. Before that he worked at Jones Lang LaSalle advising developers on town centre schemes. He and John worked together for Hammerson in its acquisition of the Bull Ring development in Birmingham.
